In the name of GOD, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
بِسْمِbis'miIn (the) nameٱللَّهِl-lahi(of) God,ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِl-raḥmāniMost Gracious,ٱلرَّحِيمِl-raḥīmiMost Merciful.
[104:1] Woe to every backbiter, slanderer.
وَيْلٌwaylunWoeلِّكُلِّlikullito everyهُمَزَةٍhumazatinbackbiterلُّمَزَةٍlumazatinslanderer! ﴿١﴾
[104:2] He hoards money and counts it.
ٱلَّذِىalladhīThe one whoجَمَعَjamaʿahe collected / accumulated / hoardedمَالًاmālanwealth / moneyوَعَدَّدَهُۥwaʿaddadahuand he counted it. ﴿٢﴾
[104:3] As if his money will make him immortal.
يَحْسَبُyaḥsabuHe thinksأَنَّannathatمَالَهُۥٓmālahuhis wealth / moneyأَخْلَدَهُۥakhladahuit made him immortal. ﴿٣﴾
[104:4] Never; he will be thrown into the Devastator.
كَلَّاkallāNay!لَيُنۢبَذَنَّlayunbadhannaSurely he will be thrownفِىfīinٱلْحُطَمَةِl-ḥuṭamatithe Crusher / Devastator. ﴿٤﴾
[104:5] Do you know what the Devastator is?
وَمَآwamāAnd what*أَدْرَىٰكَadrākait will make you know (*do you know)مَاmāWhat (is)ٱلْحُطَمَةُl-ḥuṭamatuthe Crusher / Devastator? ﴿٥﴾
[104:6] GOD's blazing Hellfire.
نَارُnāru(The) fireٱللَّهِl-lahi(of) God,ٱلْمُوقَدَةُl-mūqadatu[the] kindled. ﴿٦﴾
[104:7] It burns them inside out.
ٱلَّتِىallatīWhichتَطَّلِعُtaṭṭaliʿuit ascends / rises upعَلَىʿalāuponٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةِl-afidatithe hearts. ﴿٧﴾
[104:8] They will be confined therein.
إِنَّهَاinnahāIndeed, itعَلَيْهِمʿalayhim(will be) upon themمُّؤْصَدَةٌmu'ṣadatunclosed over / confined. ﴿٨﴾
[104:9] In extended columns.
فِىfīInعَمَدٍʿamadincolumnsمُّمَدَّدَةٍۭmumaddadatin[ones which are] spread out / extended. ﴿٩﴾
