In the name of GOD, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
بِسْمِbis'miIn (the) nameٱللَّهِl-lahi(of) God,ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِl-raḥmāniMost Gracious,ٱلرَّحِيمِl-raḥīmiMost Merciful.
[107:1] Do you know who really rejects the faith?
أَرَءَيْتَara-aytaHave you seenٱلَّذِىalladhīthe one whoيُكَذِّبُyukadhibuhe denies / rejectsبِٱلدِّينِbil-dīni[in] the religion / faith? ﴿١﴾
[107:2] That is the one who mistreats the orphans.
فَذَٰلِكَfadhālikaThen that (is)ٱلَّذِىalladhīthe one whoيَدُعُّyaduʿʿuhe repels / drives away (mistreats)ٱلْيَتِيمَl-yatīmathe orphan. ﴿٢﴾
[107:3] And does not advocate the feeding of the poor.
وَلَاwalāAnd notيَحُضُّyaḥuḍḍuhe advocatesعَلَىٰʿalātoطَعَامِṭaʿāmifeedٱلْمِسْكِينِl-mis'kīnithe poor. ﴿٣﴾
[107:4] And woe to those who observe the contact prayers (Salat) -
فَوَيْلٌfawaylunSo woeلِّلْمُصَلِّينَlil'muṣallīnato the performers of prayer (Salat), ﴿٤﴾
[107:5] who are totally heedless of their prayers.
ٱلَّذِينَalladhīnaThose whoهُمْhumtheyعَنʿanaboutصَلَاتِهِمْṣalātihimtheir Contact Prayers / Salat (are)سَاهُونَsāhūna[ones] neglectful / heedless. ﴿٥﴾
[107:6] They only show off.
ٱلَّذِينَalladhīnaThose whoهُمْhumtheyيُرَآءُونَyurāūna[they] show off. ﴿٦﴾
[107:7] And they forbid charity.
وَيَمْنَعُونَwayamnaʿūnaAnd they forbidٱلْمَاعُونَl-māʿūnathe small kindnesses / charities. ﴿٧﴾
